This unusual idli podi comes from Tamil Nadu’s Tirunelveli, a historically wealthy area. This is a locally produced, traditional good from a particular community in the area.Specialty: All manufacturing procedures, including drying raw materials, were carried out by hand. It therefore offers the magnificent flavour, taste, and scent. This is a classic Idli podi made with special bubble chillies (Gundu Milagai), which are cooked using a very precise method. This is ground using a unique method to produce a product with somewhat larger granules than powder. Consequently, when we chew this Idli Podi, we can taste it. Almost all marriage ceremonies in this area would serve this as the main side dish with idli or dosa.
